Meet Avie. Avie was rescued from Contra Costa Animal Services (SF Bay Area) on 12/13/18 (day she was scheduled for euthanasia) and is currently in the loving hands and home of a foster family who has a German Shepard that she’s quite smitten with. Avie is definitely decompressing from being in the stressful shelter and has really been coming out of her own shell. She is sweet, obedient, playful and looking for a permanent home. Here’s a word from the foster parents:

“Avie quickly settles down if you ask her to go to her bed. Goes right into her crate at night too and is completely house-trained. No accidents at all yet, which kind of surprised me after so months of kenneling. Avie is making amazing progress. She and my German Shepard are getting along great. She’s very good at taking play cues and never escalates to aggression. She’s such a sweetheart. Got my first kisses the day after we brought her home. 🙂”

Avie has the initial medical exam and past all the tests. All her required shots are up-to-date. She will be scheduled to have the spayed surgery before she is going to her forever home. Are you ready for Avie?
